Rosedale Fundraising 2025 – The Royal British Legion
We are incredibly proud to announce that The Royal British Legion has been chosen as Rosedale Funeral Home’s Charity of the Year for 2025. As part of our ongoing support, we’re thrilled to share some exciting initiatives happening in our local communities—and how you can get involved!
A Guinness World Record Attempt in Attleborough
The Attleborough branch of the Royal British Legion is taking on a challenge with a creative twist—a Guinness World Record attempt to create the largest wreath made entirely from handprints!
Want to be part of history? It’s easy!
Simply visit our Attleborough branch, where we have all the paper and paint you’ll need to leave your handprint.
Prefer to do it at home? No problem! Just drop off your finished handprints at the branch when you’re done.
Let’s come together and make something truly memorable.
Poppies with a Purpose
Meanwhile, the wonderful members of The Yard in Lowestoft are already busy knitting and crocheting poppies to help raise funds throughout the year—and we’d love your help too!
If you can knit or crochet, or would like to give it a go, we have free patterns and wool available.
Once your poppies are ready, drop them off at any Rosedale branch.
We’ll be selling these handmade poppies all year long, with proceeds going directly to the Royal British Legion in the area the money was raised.
Whether it’s paint on your hands or yarn in your lap, there’s a way for everyone to get involved and support us in our fundraising.
If you’d like to take part or learn more, please contact your nearest Rosedale branch. We’d love to hear from you!
