2026 fundraiser – Waveney SHIMS
Rosedale Funeral Home have selected a charity close to our hearts, one that gives support to people diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Waveney Shims is an amazing organisation that gives hope, reassurance and support to those with MS and their families.
We are holding many and varied fundraising events, from a sponsored cycle ride and walk around the Isle of Wight, quiz night and dinner dance.

I was diagnosed with MS in 2006 just 6 months after I had Annabelle, my beautiful daughter, who turns 21 this year. I have lived with MS ever since.
Initially I was able to inject interferons which helped manage the disease. Sadly, after ten years, the drugs were no longer effective and now there are no treatment options for me. Saying this, I have a fabulous acupuncturist and massage therapist who keep me going. I have never, and never would I, want to be defined by my illness but I do realise for many with MS it can be a long, lonely and isolating road and that is why I need your help and support.
This year Rosedale are running several fundraising events and we need raffle and Auction of Promises prizes so, if you have items you could give, or promises you can pledge, please get in contact with me either by phone:

Rosedale’s aim is to raise money to support people living with MS locally in Norfolk and Suffolk, to give them a better quality of life.
