Funeral Plan Testimonial #1
My principal reasons for taking out a funeral plan are –
I want to make my death as easy for my daughters as possible and feel that putting in place a Funeral Plan will ensure that the majority of the cost will be covered. I do not know what their financial situation will be in the future and without a Plan the cost of a funeral could create difficulties bearing in mind that it can take some time for probate to be granted.
I know that I want to be cremated, followed by a service of thanksgiving for my life in the church in which I have worshipped for over 60 years. I have written down the type of services, music and readings I would prefer to have but have made clear that if they want to make changes I am happy for them to do so.
Knowing that I have the Plan in place gives me peace of mind. I know that my family will have the full support and care of the Rosedale team when the time comes.

Funeral Plan Testimonial #2
‘My 90 year old friend was widowed and lived alone. Her son lives overseas and her daughter moves around a lot and is not easily contactable.
The lady wanted to put her affairs in order, including making provision for her funeral. She saw two or three funeral companies and was most comfortable with the attention she received from Rosedale, and Faith in particular, so went with them.
She was adamant that she wanted as little fuss as possible and was pleased to go with a direct funeral arrangement. She was very professionally dealt with and wasn’t given the impression that she was just going for the cheapest option. Her children would have preferred something more elaborate but, as she had taken out a funeral plan I was able to provide evidence of her preference. The whole process was very well conducted, and I now have her ashes which I and the children will deal with in accordance with her will.’

“We took out a funeral plan with Rosedale as we liked that they are a local family company and understood our needs, I highly recommend them.
The plan is ideal as it ensures that in the event of either one of us dying the funeral is fully paid for causing less upset at very sad time.”

“Knowing my parents have a funeral plan in place is such a comfort.
I have three older brothers, and it means there is less chance of disagreements and uncertainty when the time comes.
Knowing mum and dad have shared their wishes and paid for a funeral plan means we can focus on supporting each other and celebrating their lives.”

“The practicalities of arranging a funeral is a very upsetting and stressful process, especially if you are trying to please members of your family.
We did not have family members living close by, they are at the other end of the country. We knew we needed to be sensible and while we could, arrange our own.
My husband died during the summer but his funeral was the big thing I knew I did not have to worry about. A few vears ago we arranged a funeral plan with Rosedale. In the last weeks of his life my husband decided he did not want the conventional funeral we had arranged he wanted cremation only.
We had a friend who arranged her own funeral over the internet. Her daughter was absolutely distraught because she did not know where in the country her mother had been taken.
I had no worries of that happening with Rosedale. I was reassured when I was told they use Breckland Crematorıum. I visited a few weeks later on a lovely sunny day. It is a very peaceful place, well looked after and with the big blue sky of Norfolk.
When the arrangements were completedI was given a full breakdown of the costs and the biggest surprise of all I was given a refund.
During the whole process I had complete faith in Rosedale to look after my husband in a respectful way and he would stay in Norfolk where we have lived for the past 30 years. They kept me informed of what was happening and nothing was too much trouble.
My husbands ashes are now in an oak box with a small brass plaque with his name and I have a lovely pendant made with his ashes inside which I can always wear. All paid for out of the refunded plan money.
As we get older we don’t seem to mind too much talking about our end of life, it is a practical and loving process we can arrange while we are still here so hopefully there will be no upset when we are gone.”
