The Walk of Remembrance – A key pillar of Rosedale’s aftercare

The Walk of Remembrance is one of the key pillars of the aftercare that Rosedale offers to those who have been bereaved.

Everyone is warmly invited to join us – you do not have to be a family we have looked after at Rosedale: if you would like to remember a loved one, we hope to see you there. Please feel free to bring along your family and friends including four legged ones, so we can all take the time together to remember those we have lost.

Where: Diss Park by The Mere
When: Sunday 10th May 2026 at 12 Noon

Following one minute of silence, our annual walk of remembrance will start from The Mere, Diss.

There are two circular routes around the market town of Diss and surrounding countryside to choose from, a one mile one and a three mile one (which incorporates the local village of Palgrave and the River Waveney). Each walk offers the opportunity to visit St Mary’s Church where you can write a message in our Book of Remembrance and the light a candle.
