Rosedale was founded in 2004 by Anne and Simon Beckett-Allen to ensure that those who had been bereaved had access to high quality funeral and bereavement support where care and compassion came first.
Over 20 years later, Rosedale is a multi award-winning funeral home with branches in Norfolk and Suffolk. We are a founding member of the Association of Green Funeral Directors, and the only funeral director in South Norfolk and North Suffolk that is recommended by both the Good Funeral Guide and the Natural Death Centre.

Rosedale believes that providing the very best bereavement support goes hand in hand with helping you to arrange a funeral. Our groups run regularly throughout the year and are free to attend and open to all, regardless of how long ago the bereavement.
We also have our own bereavement library, short film, memory bears and our popular annual Service and Walk of Remembrance. We can offer advice on how to support and involved bereaved children and can signpost to further support as well.

The majority of staff have undertaken training in LGBTQ+ needs, Dementia Awareness, sign language, different religions and cultures.

Both Anne Beckett-Allen and Emily Houghton are experienced NAFD tutors who are passionate about ensuring that those that work at Rosedale are both qualified in terms of knowledge and practical experience. They believe that investing in staff training is vital to ensuring those that use Rosedale receive the best possible experience.
24 hour phone line and on-call service

We run a 24 hour phone service which is always answered by a member of Rosedale. During office hours you will most likely speak to the office you have been/will be liaising with, out of these hours, an experienced funeral director will be on call to answer your questions. This means that whatever time you need us, we will be there to offer advice or help.
